Iliad chooses Acapela to speech enable its directory service, 3217 Annu.

Iliad, a Telecom service provider and leader of directory services in France, has chosen AcapelaTTS to be the new voice of one of its premium services, the telephone version of its reverse directory, Annu.

Costing only the price of a local call, the 3217 Annu service reads the information from the reverse directory service Annu.com (already available via SMS, web or software) with Acapela TTS clear and natural voice.

Acapela text to speech technology reads all the information from the database in real time, ensuring the correctness of the data. The name and address that correspond to the number entered by the user are read out loud by Acapela TTS. With the abbreviation and exception dictionaries, Acapela Sayso can read place and street names, and can pronounce most first and last names correctly, to guarantee an optimal restitution of information and perfect comprehension over the phone.
